Category:2007 video gamesThis invention relates to a novel method for preparing a membrane electrode assembly and, more particularly, to a method for preparing an anode membrane for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell which will decrease a cost of preparing the membrane and, as a result, contribute to an increase of energy efficiency of the fuel cell.
A proton exchange membrane fuel cell is conventionally known as a fuel cell to be used as a power source in a power station or in automobiles. It is also known that the proton exchange membrane fuel cell can be used as a cogeneration system which can directly convert heat energy into electric energy. In a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) as a fuel cell component of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell, a catalyst layer is formed by a porous sheet made of carbon black and a dispersion solution of platinum catalyst, a proton exchange membrane is interposed between the two, and a gas diffusion layer is formed on the opposite side to a surface of the catalyst layer which is not in contact with the proton exchange membrane.
